Bringing Caring Closer

Founded in 1991, Georgia MENTOR is a leading home and community-based human services provider serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as youth facing emotional, behavioral and medically complex challenges and their families.

Since our founding we have grown from a single-service provider offering specialty foster care, to a diversified agency with a range of comprehensive programming and support for children and adults throughout the state.  At Georgia MENTOR, we believe that building and maintaining positive, nurturing relationships – with friends, family, caregivers and the community – provides the foundation for an individual’s development, growth and success.  This belief serves as the focus of all our services, which are designed around the needs of each person we serve and delivered in the communities they call home.

A trusted provider with a proven track record of success, Georgia MENTOR has provided quality of life enhancing services to citizens of the Peach State for nearly 20 years.

Georgia MENTOR is a partner of The MENTOR Network, a national network of local human services providers offering an array of quality, community-based services to adults and children with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury and other catastrophic injuries and illnesses; and to youth with emotional, behavioral and medically complex challenges as well as their families.
